NAFAS Board of Trustees

Are you interested in becoming a Trustee of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies?

Good governance is crucial for effective, impactful organisations – and this year we have three Board vacancies. We’re inviting you to apply for appointment to the Board. Our Trustees help improve the way we work and ensure we’re making the biggest difference to our members and wider society.

Reasons to join us

Getting involved at Board level is a key way to influence the way the Association works. With your help, we can make sure we have the best people advocating for the future of the Association, it’s Areas’, clubs’ and members’.

As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, we recognise our Board need to better reflect the diversity of our Association. We are looking for Trustees from a range of different backgrounds, who can bring new perspectives, lived experiences and a range of skills. We are particularly looking for individuals who have a background in any of the following:

Education (NAFAS or Ofqual experience)
Financial
Legal
Strategy Planning
Marketing
Social Media

In accordance with our Articles of Association new Trustees can be appointed to the Board by the current Trustees. To apply, please complete the following steps:

All applications will be considered by the Trustees at subsequent Board meetings.

National Education Committee Member

An exciting vacancy to join the National Education Committee as a Committee Member has become available to be a part of the submission of the NAFAS Floral Design Course to Ofqual and help shape the future of NAFAS Education.

This role is available for all to apply, however we are keen to hear from teachers and those who have previously been involved in a teaching role.

National Demonstrators Committee Member

Committee Members required to join at the October AGM. To apply please read the Role Description (below) and complete the Application form and send it together with your CV to: vanessa@nafas.org.uk
